The 35/2.0 Distagon lens is a newly computed fast reportage lens with moderate wide-angle coverage, it has high optical performance available across the frame throughout the focusing range. On a Nikon DSLR, it behaves as a fast standard lens when taking the field of view crop into account. Like the other lenses in the range, it has a very high precision long-life all metal construction barrel.
